Being a woman comes with its own hustle of the day-to-day managing of our homes and taking care of our families. And when we add being an entrepreneur who is marketing her business online, the time constraint can really Really be felt!

Do you ever feel like you don’t have enough time for marketing your business online? Or even that you are spending too much time on your marketing that it gets so overwhelming?

See, time is a very vital resource for your business and if not managed well, you’ll find yourself all over the internet, frustrated, tired and overwhelmed…and often with nothing much to really show for the time you spent online especially social media.

I used work in my business over 18 hours a day and most of these hours spent slaving away at my laptop or smart phone marketing my business and looking for clients! I’m going to share with you some tips that helped me move from slaving away at my laptop to working an average of 4-6 hours a day and yet getting more results than I did working 18hours +!

So here we go!

1. Determine how much time you want to spend on marketing your business online:

This is very important. Unless you decide how much time you want spend online, you’ll find yourself spending 6 hours a day in Facebook groups or on Instagram just aimlessly scrolling, reading and liking other people’s posts! Or you will find yourself spending countless hours posting your content in numerous groups and several social media platforms…without much result to show for it! I mean…No clients! No Money!

2. Work in time blocks

Work in chunks of time with short breaks in between. I normally work in blocks of 1 hour or 1.5 hours, depending on what I’m working on…whether its business building, coaching or marketing. When you set a specific amount of time aside for a particular activity, your mind is going to be focused on only that activity and you will be very productive with that time. If you are not working in time blocks, try it now and let me know how it went! You can come back and let me know in the comments section below or send an email to clientcare@ruthidakajumba.com  I would love to know!

3. Create your content in advance!

When I wait to create my content at the time when I am supposed to post it, my energy drops, I feel under pressure and sometimes I may procrastinate over creating it! And do you know what happens next? …I actually may not create it, that means I will not post it and therefore I will not be consistent with my visibility and marketing online! And you know no visibility = no clients! So if you are not creating your content in advance, my best advice to you is that you should start creating your content way in advance and probably edit it before you post it. Remember that for as long as you are marketing your business online, you must create some kind of content. Content is what will position you as a go-to-person in your industry. It’s what will attract your ideal clients to you!

These are my today’s tips for you to keep it simple with your marketing online while getting clients without overwhelm. Did you find them helpful? I would love to know… leave your comment in the comments section below.
