Getting clients online doesn’t have to be complicated. In many cases, without knowing it we have made our own marketing super complicated by allowing ourselves to get into the overwhelm and information overload online.

Marketing your business online to get clients will get as complicated as you make it. Myself, even with the best online marketing training I had when I had just got started building my business online, somehow because I had access to so much juicy marketing information I got derailed and sucked into the shiny object syndrome and I was implementing a zillion marketing strategies, attending webinar after webinar, following a million mentors and their marketing strategies. How did I end up? Tired, overwhelmed, my brain swollen from information overload, frustrated and yes…broke! Can you relate? Story of my marketing life but I rose up from the fall.

It’s now your time to rise up too and have fun while marketing your businesses online! I’m going to share with you 3 simple steps that will help you market and get clients online with more ease and grace. I’m going to assume that you already know WHO your ideal client is and WHERE to find them. If not, you will want to go and read about it here.

So let’s get into HOW to get clients online…

1. Position Yourself Where Your Ideal Clients Hang Out!

If you are not standing at the right station you will miss the train to your destination! Likewise, if your goal is marketing your business, spend more time in places that your ideal client is hanging out. For example you don’t have to be spending most of your time in “women in real estate Facebook groups” if your ideal client is a woman dealing with body weight issues. Position yourself in groups that have women whose common interest is weight loss. If your ideal clients are fashionistas, you probably want to position yourself on Instagram or fashion groups on Facebook and not Linkedin.

2. Create And Share Valuable Content

Once you’ve positioned yourself where your ideal clients are, create and share valuable content. As long as you are marketing online (or even offline), you will have to create some kind of content that will attract your ideal clients to buy from you (immediately or eventually). Of course there’s several types of content that you can create, however, make sure that your ideal clients or audience find your content valuable for instance… because it addresses the problems they have, it provides solutions, it motivates them, inspires them, it engages them or they relate to it. When your content hooks on people, they naturally will be attracted to you because they see you as the go-to-person who can help them. This will grow your Know, Like and Trust factor. Simply explained…people buy from those they Know, Like and Trust!

3. Know What To Say To Your Ideal Clients!

Now listen to this…if you know your ideal clients and where to find them BUT you don’t know what to say to them with your content, there will be a mismatch and your message will fall to deaf ears! So what you want is to create content that your ideal clients will see or hear, stop in their tracts and say“oh my gosh, it’s like she’s speaking to me!” Create content that addresses your ideal client’s needs and desires…but most importantly…use your ideal clients’ exact words!

That’s my keep it simple marketing tips for you today! Yes I know you’re a woman entrepreneur and it can get so busy in business, BUT you don’t have to be glued to your PC or smartphone whole day figuring out how to get clients in your business. Marketing online does not have to be overwhelming. Be strategic with the information I’ve shared with you, so that you can be more productive with your marketing… using less time and sparing the rest for doing the things that you love!
